i have 2 kids ..........when he hits you tell him that's wrong and put I'm on a time out

He wants attention. His communication skills are not developed so little kids tend to hit or bite to get a reaction. As soon as the cousin hits, Firmly take the hitting hand and say "No hit" and say it sternly and do it every single time they hit. I would refrain from using the words "Bad boy/girl".

you hold him very firmly look into his eyes and in a very firm voice say NO, i do not like that or you could tell him no and hit him just a little harder than he hit you. might make him cry but he will think twice the next time...

he is 1 you are older then him if he hits and his parent do not show him it is wrong you need to show him by tell him it is wrong to hit and show him

show him that its wrong to punch people and punish him. if his parents won t let u .then take his favorite toy and use it as a treat each time he doesnt punch you give it to him and if he does take it away .
