To program the remotes :-
Obtain all remote controls
Turn ignition switch to position 1 then off 4 times
On the forth time DO NOT switch OFF
Wait for acoustic signal
Press unlock button
another acoustic signal indicates correct programming
Program remaining remote control units within 10 seconds using unlock button
Switch ignition OFF , another acoustic signal will be heard .
To program a key :-
Insert master ( red ) key into ignition switch
Turn ignition switch to position II
Wait until system LED illuminates
Switch ignition OFF , remove master key
Wait until LED illuminates again and then goes out
Carry out the following within 10 seconds of the LED going out
Insert key to be programmed
Turn ignition to position II
Check LED flashes once to indicate correct programming
Switch ignition Off , remove key
Repeat above procedure within 10 seconds to program remaining keys

Its a sequence my hubby can't quite remember, but something like turn ignition on and off about 4 times or until red light comes on to show car is learning, then you get out lock door and press fob 3 or 4 times. It is possible though! If that doesn't work ask a ford mechanic!

You can't, go to Fords for a new one.

you insert the red key then the new one. i think that's it. i'm not sure if you have to turn it one notch forward. but anyway you can try.
