" having an addiction to the needle" is very common. it is too dam hard to do it alone. you need to learn living skills to go with it. education on addiction and coping with it is the only way to recover. i've clean 5 years.

I think the very fact you got hooked on heroin at all is good evidence of your mental instability. What you really need to do is find something else to occupy your time. Do something else, and whenever you find yourself thinking about taking some heroin, force your mind off it. It might be painful for you, but it's MUCH better than the alternative. Remember, you're the one who got yourself into this mess, you're not getting out of it without a little pain.

And no, don't go to church. Being a christian might be better than being a heroin addict, that doesn't mean it's good...and it's quite possible to be both.

My son was on herion for quite a while. I don't know how he did it, but he just quit. Do you have any other mental issues? You may need help for them and then maybe you will give up the herion. It's a terrible addiction and I wish you a lot of luck. My son's friend lost all of his teeth, he's only 20, because of herion use. My son was lucky. He had 16 cavities but we were able to get them filled before they went into root canals. Please try to find some kind of help. Your herion use is probably affecting every aspect of your life. I don't even know you but I wish I could help you. By the way, my son is getting help for his mental issues it has helped him get off of everything but occasional weed.
