I get super stressed about not having enough time to do stuff. I work 40 hours a week and am taking 2 college classes. I have weekends off, but I can never just live in the moment. I'm always pretty much counting down to when I have to work again (and when I don't have time to do anything anymore). During my time off, I don't have fun. I keep making lists of things that I "need" to do, such as tidying my closet or something. I'm always thinking ahead, but want to learn to just live in the moment and not be so stressed about losing time. What can I do?

It sounds to me like you're left brained. These people follow their schedules, stay on task, and like sequential orders to follow. Well, I am not left brained, so this is what I do: Take some time to just relax, listen to some classical music. Another good thing is to just sit, sit and think about doing something you enjoy, not your job or schedule. Try drawing, and being creative. Do not worry about what will come, because what happens, happens. You can change what will happen, but there is no stopping what is planned for you. Let God take your burden, he already has a plan for you, if you're saved. Just know that you're doing your best, and that's all anyone could ask of you. Don't stress, just know that if you're doing your best, then there is no reason to worry about what will happen.

What I do is prioritize my time. I know that I need to get things done, but I make sure to leave some rest time.
Living in the moment is not making lists. Do things as they come to you. You can't plan every moment of you existance. Make lists only if you feel like you will completely forget something. If you know you will remember it, don't bother.
Take a stroll outside with no real purpose. Some fresh air calms the nerves.

I try to only look at what's right in front of me and live that experience fully. When I am working, I experience only working, not thinking about what needs to be done around the house. When I'm with my daughter, I go into her world and try to see the world through her eyes, without worrying about judging her or making her "better".
Don't wear a watch on your days off, if something needs to be done, do it, don't write lists about it. You are making a choice to live like this, conciously or unconsciously, you are the only one who can decide to live differently.

On the weekends make time for fun and make time for work. Since it seems like you like everything to be scheduled out make a list of what you need to do on a day. During the morning's and afternoon do your work and at night go out and have fun. Just make time for fun, it isn't that hard to do once you do it.

There is a saying ""Why should you wait till tomorrow if you can do it today""" that wasn`t bad....but not all the time be normal and dont stress yourself for the things that it is not necessary to think of it now....no body knows whats gonna be tomorrow.. just relax and be happy.

I saw a DVD that (no joke) changed my life. It's called The Secret, and you can actually watch it online at thesecret.tv

If you watch it and really let it sink in (take notes!) it'll make a difference in so many areas of your life!! Good luck, and message me if you ever want some support :-)

You sound like a busy person. Mix in a little alcohol and a little sex and you will be onto something!
