honey no one wants to face consequences but that doesnt mean they don't have to. if you dont make her face consequences she'll think she can do anything and you won't care. restriction isn't wrong at all. she might say she hates you or whatever but she'll get over it.

she needs to learn from her mistakes, we all do. Shes only 13 and still learning about the world the sooner she learns the consequences for her actions the better.

All teens think that they shouldn't be punished and that they are right no matter what. Bottom line is you are the parent and you need to set rules, restrictions, and make sure if she does something wrong that she is punished accordingly. Start doing it now, so that when she's older she will respect you and the rules of your home.

Depending on what kind of mistakes she has made, the restriction should fit the mistake!

Without consequences, why behave at all? No you are not wrong for restriction when she misbehaves. If she has no guideline tofollow she will believe you no longer care at all.

That's just her way of trying to control you. Without consequences there is no order.

maybe that's your fault, what you need to do is discipline her... show her who's boss... ask yourself if you love her enough to say no. i mean, wouldn't you rather have her hate you and be successful or love you and be unsuccessful? i know what my choice is. so whats yours? oh and remember that she's 13, it may have to do with puberty..GOOD LUCK!!
