Well, I have never read the Koran, so I can say anything about that, but the Bible says nothing whatsoever about masturbation. I don't think any translation of it has that word in it at all. Onan is sometimes accused of masturbating, because he "spilled his seed on the ground", and God killed him for that. Actually, he was guilty, if that is the right word, of practicing 'coitus interruptus, a very primitive and unreliable method of birth control, because he did not want to give his deceased brother's wife a child, as Hebrew law required of him. But he is often thought of as a masturbator, erroneously, in my opinion. The Bible does however say that 'lust' is a sin, and it is hard for me to imagine anyone masturbating without 'lusting' - having sexual desires for some person. Therefore, that being so, I would have to say that the Bible, & it's religion, DOES frown on masturbation. But... it is almost equally hard for me to imagine anyone growing up to adulthood without doing it. Heck, that is just human nature! IF everyone who ever masturbated is going to Hell for that, then imho Heaven will probably be quite empty. Forgive me please, if my remarks should offend anyone! That is just the way I honestly see it.

In Islam, all laws governing human action are to do with the end result.
Whats the end result of indulging in too much masturbation? You should find out and try to understand that He who created you (and I say He because I really dont have much of a choice when it comes to second person pronouns in english, God doesnt have gender in Islam) will not want you to hurt yourself or others.
And since most of Islamic rules are likeable by human logic, we can safely say that, you should not indulge in masturbation unless you fear you shall hurt some one else if you dont have an outlet for your sexual desires: a spouse.
Most Islamic scholars will agree on this and Ive seen it written in many books.
i.e. masturbation is a lewd act...stay away from it unless you dont have any other outlet for your sexual desires.
Note: And since we believe Christianity was a message from God before Islam, Im pretty sure theres something in there warning against masturbation.
Last but not least, use your head and judge for yourself matey. Youre the only one liable for this with God ^^ so dont point at anyone when He asks you why youve been fiddling with your tool so much. lol

Do Muppets have naughty bits? I didn't think they did, but I could be wrong... I would say the Bible specifies the use of a crusifix, while the Koran specifies using a semi-automatic assult weapon...Just don't hurt your poor little muppet naughty bits...

Masturbation is not sinful.... and even if holy books said so, it isnt.
Its definaltey a safer event than those events that bring about unwanted children, aids, etc..
I get tired of hearing, absistance,, which often excludes masterbation, when its masterbation that can help absistance succeed.
