can a dog have blue, green, hazel, or any other color eyes besides brown eyes?

Yes---Dogs do have other eye coloring. Huskies have blue eyes.Some times I have seen them with one eye blue the orther eye brown. My Dad's chihuahua has hazel eyes that look human.

Huskies are a common breed for blue eyes. I have seen greyhounds with golden eyes (like in cats). Off the top of my head I don't know any green/hazel eyed breeds.

Yes, there are definitely breed with eye colors other than brown. It is very breed specific. Certain breeds can't have certain colored eyes. For Ex. Pit Bulls can't have blue eyes and still be in conformation

Yes they can. It's not standard in most breeds, but it happens. Some breeds naturally have blue eyes, such as malamutes.

I had a green eyed mutt years ago.

But,MOST breed standards concider ANYTHING but a dark brown eye as a MAJOR fault!
