I have various friends who are married or in a long term relationship and they play games. For example insteasd of saying what they want or expect from the other they attempt to manipulate the person, or do what they think the other wants without asking. I believe in saying what you mean and being open and honest. This does not mean everthing needs to be said. but why all the games? I've seen these situations only end badly, I repeat "end". I speak from experience. So when did relationships become a game and not a partnership? I'm currently single and refuse to play the mind games. So someone help me understand why these happen so I can avoid this situation in future relationships. Thanks.

most the time couples tend to do this because they want their significant or other to know something but are to embarrassed to tell them so they play the mind game

I agree communication is key but sometimes u want good ole understanding and a connectedness...

Blame Hollywood. Have you watched any romantic movies? Any soap operas? Any sitcoms? It's all about misunderstanding and manipulation. We need better role models than what Hollywood can provide. I think you should write a book or start your own talk show. Give us the guidance we need!

Rodeo is usually a calming interest my mom loved to play. The bypass is an extra, my deepest sought after to be truthful. It involves both of you forming a go, then you definately MAKE IT UP YOLO

Because you let them play games. They play the game, they make the rules ext, thus making them the ones in control. And your the helpless victim.
No one needs to take that from someone. Its your own fault that your in a situation like that.

I THINK SOME PEOPLE PLAY GAMES IN RELATIONSHIPS ONLY BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THEIR PARTNER, OR THEMSELVES. IF YOU HAVE RESPECT AND A RELATIONSHIP MEANS ANYTHING TO YOU, YOU SHOULDN'T PLAY GAMES. JUST BE HONEST.

nothing will last without god.. got to have God in relationships, or it just wont last..you can see this in all marriages today, and that's why the divorce rate is so high.. the fact of the matter is no one wants to be under authority under god, or follow his rules..
