Matthew 6:27 Which of you by worrying is able to add one cubit to his stature? 28 So why do you worry about clothes? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither labor, nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you, that not even Solomon in all his glory was arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God thus clothes the grass of the field, which exists today, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we put on?' 32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own affairs. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, along with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus......19 And my God will supply all your need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit." Jeremiah 17:5-8
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
