straightening irons don't do much good for me i like the curling irons...you could get curls and straighten it if you want...i like con air, i am not really fond of ceramic curling irons but it works diferently for some hair types..um i am not sure of the price but you could go to conair.com and see all of them

U can get a hair straightener for as little as $15. It works well in my hair and from Conair but I have med length hair and don't have to use it every day. The best one is a Chi Straightener a they can get pretty expensive depending on the brand. Go with a company that u know like Revlon. If u must get a more expensive brand go to your Beauty Supply Store and purchase one there. Many times they have rebates or sales for these products. Make sure the plates match the length of your hair and texture. U should not get a bigger plate for short length hair. Good luck.

I have a salon straightener, the brand is FHI. It is AMAZING. I think you can get it on ebay or through a friend that is a stylist if you know any. They are pretty expensive, but worth every penny.
It's amazing, beat every straightener I ever tried hands down. You know it's worth it if its a salon straightener!

I have a Chi and I love it - it costs about $ 100 but it only takes 20 sec. to heat up and it doesnt fry your hair near as bad as the cheap ones because a Chi doesnt dry your hair out - it gives it moisture- which most flat irons dont

I would find the CERAMIC straightener that has the price in between...you want one that wroks well but you don't want it expensive in case its not right for your type of hair. Using ceramic straighteners heats up your hair faster and won't fry your hair. I love the straight look on anyone!

i would suggest using a straightening iron instead. chemical straighteners tend to dry hair out. with an iron your hair will stay healthier an you have the option of straight or curly
