Buy a plastic runner to put down on the floor. The floor may be too slick for her to walk on.

We basically had the same problem a while ago. I suggest to keep cutting and trimming all nails and especially cut all hair in between toes average once every two weeks. Doing so will help guarantee.

The floors are too slippery for her and she is afraid of falling, the noise and sensation frightens her. I would put a carpet runner with a non slip backing as a walkway for her. she will learn to use these areas. If she is a puppy as she gets older she will have better control of her muscles and learn how to walk on your floors. No she is not lazy.

haha.. i had a problem like this before. You cant really "train" a dog not to slip. What you can do is let the dog trip a couple af times and he should get the tip that he shouldnt walk there. it is sometimes hard for dogs to get good grips, but he will learn eventually where he can walk with out falling.. GOOD lucK!

No silly. Dogs tend to slip on wooden floors because they are slippery and it is difficult for them to get a grip. Try to find some doggie booties that have a rubber sole and see how these work.

Mad gave you the right answer. Also, labs have a tendency to have hip dysplasia. Watch your dog closely. Labs are my favorite dog.
