When you experience different emotions in the brain, they send signals to and stress the body. For negative emotions, hormone can levels change, blood vessels constrict which lead to rising blood pressure, weakened immune system. All these signals can effect how you feel in the region of your heart and other areas of the body. Your heart's rhythm can even change! This is why doctors are always saying that negative emotions are not good for you.

No one can answer this question with a straight forward answer. Sorry... But i do know what it does feel like to loose someone that you truly care about. To think of them when you hear songs on the radio or you see something that you know that they liked and then there is that pain again all over you.
I lost someone i loved more than i knew until they were gone. It still hurts today and its been over a year. If this is fresh for you trust when i say that the days get easier and the nights not so long. Although this person will be always in your heart and those songs and things that you see will always make you think of them you will find love again but not replace the love that was lost.
My heart goes out to you.

because the person your hurt by means so much to you ...when your with that person your heart may skip a beat or make beat really fast depending on the moment, if that person leaves you your heart is nothing special but an average beat...it would be like reading a book your whole life without getting out and doing the things you enjoy...it'll hurt you in ways

Because of all the dreams we fantasized about, that were apparently never meant to be. We do not rejoice for what we had, and feel happy that we have helped them along the path of life that will hopefully make them happy. Instead, we regret what we won't have. But all things always happen for a good reason, even though we cannot usually figure out what good could come about from our current situation.

Nobody likes to feel rejected and that's exactly what happens when you get dumped. You have this empty feeling in your heart like you're not good enough. It's horrible, especially when you get that from someone you care about and you thought cared about you. It sucks.

God gave us feelings. If you're human and you care for someone - you will hurt for a few. We have emotions, feelings, we act and react to things. God also made us strong and gave us the ability to rationalize things. You will hurt, but you will learn from this experience and grow and will be ready for another relationship at some time in the future. Hang in there.

Because it is such a blow to be rejected by someone you care about. It causes you to feel all kinds of emotions. It is a very sad time and all you can do is cry and try to keep busy and get through it. After a while the intensity of the pain lessens until you can handle it better.

because when you have a bf or a gf it seems like they take the weight off of your heart and you are carefree and happy but if they dump you it seems like the weight falls and just drags your heart down
