Okay. So, my question is, when you have a friend that's a girl, what is it about her that might make you want to date her, or makes you look at her in a new light? What is it that she might do that could make you look at her differently?

What is it about her personality? I'd love details.

I'm not going to lie. It's NOT going to be personality. If he doesn't like your personality, he wouldn't be your friend in the first place. Thus the only thing making him not want to be more than friends is how hot you are (maybe he DOES want to be more than just friends). That's pretty much the truth. Just dress and smell the best you can.

All guys wants to involve all girls sexually.
The question is whether the guy wants the girl in a long term relationship.

I will say when a guy is not lonely and not desparate for a female, and he wants to find something more intimate and not physical. He then look for someone with personalities that fits/match his wish.

Being a friend to begin with says that the girls has some quality personality to start with. The guy can feel ease to hang around this lady. That means he does not have to pretend or trying to impress this girls. That is a way head start.

Your question is what to change so that he wants to take the relationship into a different directions. That it is too hard to answer. As different person has different needs. And different guys has different personalities and interests.

Sorry.

Okay, I'm not a guy, but here's my take on it:

In my opinion, its not really like...one moment you're friends, and then BAM!, suddenly you love her. Its more you've built up a great relationship, and then you begin to realize that its not just a friendship you're interested in.

So for the girl, its not something you can just do so you're friend sees you in a new light. You've just got to be a good friend. If you want more than friendship, try to give him subtle hints. But make sure you don't do anything that could sacrifice to the friendship for something more.

Well for starters you know this a person you have an easy time talking to. She also is easy to get along with. Its alot easier to please a friend. It might be a good way to lose a friend but if it works out it could be the best relationship. When it comes down to it its alot harder to say and do bad things to this person. And the botton line is your friends.

If im in her friend zone, then i would like her anyway cuz it was her who wanted to be "friends".........if she IS my friend then i'd like her if she is hot and makes me melt around her for some reason which also includes her personality, the personality makes a person hot as much as natural looks, personality would be how she talks and looks at me, how she dresses and acts and carries herself etc.

well, a guy get himself a girl friend to actually speak of intimate things like how we feel, what we think. and we get to express ourselves so much that we can't help but fall in love. and the same thing happens to girls, they get a guy to have around only with no benefits. just sometimes only one side has too much chemistry and the friendship goes to ruins. it is why a friendship between man and woman cannot exist. it is in our nature to destroy ourselves.

The smartest thing to do is realize your a guy and not mess up your friendship. Deal with your own emotions and move forward.

Depends.

But if she's already a friend, then I usually lose all interest in her, and seek out other girls.

Looks, if she is hot.

Or if she is REALLY interesting / intriguing personality-wise for some reason.
