It depends on how well it is wrapped. I wrap meat to be frozen with saran wrap making sure that all of the air is removed. Then put inside a zip-lock baggie, and again, be sure to squeeze all of the air out and date it. I've eaten some beef that was three years old, and tasted fresh. As long as you wrap the meat without air in it, prevents freezer burn.

It Depends What type Of Freezer you have,
If it is 4 Star Rating Meat should keep for up to 3month's.
If it is Vacuum Sealed even Longer..

A good quality freezer - beef, lamb and poultry - six months: Pork - better to be safe than sorry - max. 2 months.

I wouldn't go over a year. make sure you rinse it off good and package it tightly get all the air out. ok.
