I have only used Tresseme once but I am a person who tries many shampoos. It really all depends on what results you are looking for from your shampoo. Tresseme is probably best for dry hair and scalp since, as you say, some people say it is oily. One of the people said they like the shampoo but not the conditioner. I don't suggest mixing different brands when it comes to just the shampoo and conditioner. It does worse more often then better to do so. There is also a rumor that switching shampoos once in a while will help your hair. I believe this true, I myself do it. I will finish off a bottle of Thermasilk then switch to Pantee proV then back again. Sometimes I will buy something else to try it and see if it works. If it does I will add it to the list. Switching after every empty bottle has made my hair silky soft and for my hair type that is hard because I have always had bad split ends (lately though, using mostly Thermasilk, it has been greatly improving). I suggest that you try different products, and don't be afraid to try any shampoo as long as you know that people do use it. If people don't use it don't try it. You may just find that those low priced items are better then those that are higher priced, or you may not. It really depends on your hair. If you would like to try Thermasilk, I find it at it lowest price at Food4Less the next lowest is at Walmart. Pantee proV is a little more on the expensive side, I only buy it to break the habit because it has an ok offect on my hair. Good luck on finding a shampoo best fit for you.- Melissa

I use Tresseme hair products as my every day brand. I have other salon products but Tresseme is more affordable and does what I need for them to do. There are several like for Body, Vitamin etc. Get one that u need to promote your hair at any store. Even the styling products are great.

Well if your planning on buying something close to salon products but dont want to spend the money then buy that product. Its not salon quality but it will help a bit it doesnt contain that much alchol in them as other over the counter products

Tresseme hair products are okay but after a weeks use it did make my hair oily. I'm not sure why this is but I'd suggest Garnier hair products.

Oh yes; They're the best. I use Tresemme all the time. I've never found anything that works as good. The shampoo/conditioner makes me hair soft and shiny. It also tames the frizz a bit, and my hair is a pain. I recomend leaving the conditioner on for several minutes for best results.

Salon hair products so cheap?they are cheap for a reason! I've used it and didn't like it much, the shampoo was ok, the conditioner not. It does depend on your ownhair though. I use Avon advance techniques for my coloured hair, my exboyf used Tressemme because it was soft on his very sensitive scalp. It just depends on you. try it if you don't like i.....ditch it.

they are very good. you just have to get the right one. if you have normal hair you get the one for normal hair, not the one for ext-dry. that will make your hair oily. and don't use more conditioner than your hair really needs. and make sure you get all of it out when you rinse, that goes for all conditioners.
