Wouldn't you say the goverment is providing the people of this country with a false sense of security? I just went to Canada with two sealed boxes in my car and the guard had no desire to get out of his shack to search the vehicle. Nor did I see them search anyone elses car.

Can you say, "Racial Profiling?"

It is the true status quo among law enforcement.

So, do you look like a bad guy?

If not, why should they waste their time?

I have lived in Germany and Spain, and I have traveled to France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, and Austria to name a few.

I don't look like a bad guy, so I was never searched or questioned. Yet, I've been witness to searches and questioning of others.

I know nothing of Canada and really care less. What is the point your trying to make the USA or Canada? Besides were you carrying explosives like the Canadians guy a few years ago who got caught? Silly question you can not search every pocket crossing any boarder

By my experience, no where searched as thouroghly as the states does. My guess is they have been doing this every day for years and know what to look for and who looks guilty better than anyone.

Yes, I would agree. My husband just went on a flight and they didnt take his lighter from him and on the phone they told him no lighters or drinks ect.....

I dont think our security is any better than it was before 911.

My husband said that he could of gotten anything he wanted on that plane and he was talking to others about it on the plane.

I think it is more true that the regime' in this country is providing the people with a false sense of fear. This is in order that they be able to commit illegal immoral attrocities without being questioned.
