You can make a homemade lightener at home with the following ingredients:
2 cups water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 cups chamomile tea
1 tablespoon parsley
Boil and let simmer for 15 minutes. Take out the teabags and drain out the parsley. Let cool until its at room temperature. Pour over your hair and rinse 2-3 times. If that doesn't work, go swimming in the pool a couple times and stay in the sun(chlorine really lightened my hair up). You probably won't notice a difference right away though if you just dyed it. Wait a couple of days to let some of it out in the shower, and then try the homemade solution. Good luck!!

ok first do not put any more boxed hair color in your hair. boxed color is the worst color to use and iam talking for all the boxed color. boxed haircolor has henna in it which is the worst thing that you can put in your hair. the color will eventually turn a tint of red and the only way that you can get this out of your hair is by cutting it out and i dont recommend that. what you can either do is go to a salon and what they can do is corrective color. which might be expensive depending on where you go. if you have a cosmetology school where you live you can go to one of the schools and get your hair fixed which will help a student out for pratice and requirements. will be a lot cheaper then a salon. but as far as doing anything else... dont put any more color in it, it will just make it darker. if you wait about 6 weeks it well eventually fade out and might turn to the color that you want it. so just be pacient and wait it out. next time just save a little more money and get it done at the salon its alot better.

I did the same thing--twice actually. The first time, I washed my hair immediately with clarifying shampoo. The first time, I started spraying Sun-In into my hair (a ton of it) before I blow dryed it. The second time, I waited a day and then I re-dyed it using Revlon Color Silk's dark blonde. Your hair will feel real dry so make sure that you use a good conditioner to put moisture back into your hair and use a leave in conditioner to put moisture back into it. I am currently using Biolage Ultra Moisturing Balm and their Ultra Moisturing Leave-In conditioner. I also use a spray in detangler. My favorite is Rusk's Calm. I used Suave's Daily Clarifying shampoo both times and it helped a lot. Good luck.

I used to be a hairdresser, be careful what you do next. You cannot lift color with color, so forget about putting another color on top. Do NOT use sun-in, it's not meant to be used on top of a metallic dye (which Nice and Easy is). And can turn your hair green. I have two answers for you. Either call the toll-free number on the box of Nice and Easy and get their advice with their product. Or grab your box and visit your local hairdresser and let them fix your hair. They will probably remove some of the color for you. Otherwise, wash it often until it lightens, but it will take awhile.

Listen to daff73 what she says is good

You can also use a strong shampoo like Prell or baby shampoo to try to lighten it if you don't want to color it again so soon. It won't be big change but can help.
