Just take 2 butter knives and cut the butter using a criss-cross action. As the pieces become smaller they will work into the dry ingredients.

You can actually use your (very clean) hands. My hubby makes biscuits this way--it's easier when making large batches (he was a military cook).

You can use a dinner fork,,,,,,,,,,,it does great.
