There is no correct answer as, God did not create man but ancient man who created God. That's why we now have 1500 different religions, all who claim that God told them that they are "God's True Religion". God should resume coming down like he used to do in the Bible and say, "ATTENTION ALL PEOPLE OF THE WORLD, MY FAVORITE RELIGION IS..........."

No, not at all. In fact, it was through the Pilgrims and Puritans that the Gospel was able to be shared with the Native Americans.
Now, how the Pilgrims and or Puritans decided to share that lovely truth of Jesus Christ is an all together different story. Shame on those who gave Christ a horrible name by not representing Him in LOVE!
On the other hand, there were many who through their Godly example did share the true love of Christ with the Natives and this is what God had intended, nothing more.
Any aspect of this having been screwed up was a result of man trying to do things in their own time and in their own will.
If they had done everything God's way... Things would obviously have been, and would be a lot better.
In an additional thought: It would not be unlike God to have had many a lesson for the Puritans and Pilgrims to have learned from the Native Americans. And I am sure there were a humble lot that did glean something from the natives, (survival for one thing) and that is to say that God would have us all learn from one another and live together in peace. It is man that always seems to mess that up. It's not God's fault or His problem, but ours.

God was more on the side of indians..
Puritans were evil in that the eventually led to to 'witch trials' which is one of the most evil events to ever happen.
Especially considering that witchs have never existed.
These socall spirits etc that indians worshiped were in fact the 'spririt of the creator'...not a christian or biblical view but in fact the natural view of god.
Even without bible or 'being saved' Indians were often closer to god than all other peoples back then.
I do wish Jesus had come back as an indian, life would have been very interesting twist if he had.

that is an over-simplification. It is not a matter of God being on one side or another. It is a matter of who is obedient to God. So we should be asking if we are on God's side. Were the Puritans and Pilgrims honoring God? Or were the natives? The Christians at least tried, even though they were far from perfect. I am glad he does not require perfection, by the way.
The various native tribes were worshiping all types of other gods or spirits.

Not opposed to them, just didn't like their worship of alternative spirits and animals.
