I have large bay windows and I need to decorate the half hexagon with something. Does anyone have any ideas.

can you do a bench? i know i saw on DIY Network or HGTV how to build one. i'm sure it's on their site - then you get extra storage too! if you don't want to build one or hire someone to build one in, you can get a hope chest and put it in there with some sort of tall plant on either side (depends on how much light the window gets on what type of plant, ask your local nursery or home depot which plants are best suited). the thing to remember is that symmetry is very appealing, so try to keep it symmetrical - you don't have to buy 2 of everything though - just keep the balance and it will look good.

do you have a theme running in the room yet? picking a theme always makes decorating any space easier!

if there is a nice view out and the sills are low enuff how about a window seat make it a feature of the room and a great place to read

A big puffy bird's nest chair, a reading lamp, and a little foot stool, and maybe a small handwoven rug if it's a hardwood floor.

Plants of different heights, shapes, and shades of green. Add a rocking chair and a footstool.
