Its a simple matter of weight. Weight reduction is a major issue for airliners. The less a plane weighs, the less thrust it needs and the less fuel it burns. Making planes out of the same material as the black boxes would means very excessive weight, so lots of fuel burn, which in the current era where everyone is so concerned about the environment and burning fossil fuels would not be tolerated.

I even have not been on right here in some months, and, what a marvel, the day I come decrease back somebody asks this comparable drained question lower back. on an analogous time as we are at it, why did kamikaze pilots placed on helmets? Why can we stress on a limited-access highway and park in a driveway? Do fish get thirsty? C'mon! asked AND responded!

Besides being too heavy, it wouldn't gain much if you could make the frame of the plane indestructible. It would not reduce the impact for the passengers in a crash (in fact it would make the impact slightly worse, as a crumpling frame absorbs some of the impact shock)

i think it is because the plane has to be light enough to become airborne, the metal they use to make the 'Black Box' is too heavy and the plane would never leave the ground. And we all know how cheap airlines are, its probably too expensive...

The plane would never be able to lift off the ground as it would be too heavy.

black boxes are made from titanium alloy. if a plane were made from same stuff it'd never get off the ground due to being unbelievably heavy.

2 make them flight worthy & durable they need different metals, & minerals from different parts of world the world. they can't just be made of a limited no. of materials.

Because they would never have to make replacement planes after they crash.
Think of all the jobs that would be lost.
