Never, because it will make your puppy sick. Dog's can't digest cows milk very well & experience lactose intolerance just like humans do.
Once the dog is weaned it shouldn't need milk at all. In fact humans are the only animal that seems to feel the need to drink milk once we have been weaned. Notice all the lactose intolerant people, there is a good reason for it. & the pain & discomfort they go through is exactly what a dog will experience after drinking milk because lactose intolerance just means that you can not digest it very well.

It is never safe to give a puppy cows milk
Cows milk will upset, a dogs digestion and can make them extremely ill.
If your puppy is over 8 weeks old ,
it should be properly weaned ,and does not need additional milk,
A puppy should be given FRESH water ( this should be available all day )
And plenty of small meals, of good quality dog food ( as well as some puppy kibble )
If you have a premature puppy, or one that has been parted from its mom too soon ,
, A special milk formula, is available from vets and should be fed as directed .

hi ya know its not safe at all, your puppy will not get the same viatiams that it would get from its mothers milk. You don't say what happened its mother that its not getting her milk, But you can buy puppy milk and your puppy will do fine on that. Its a great question and i give you a thumbs up for that one

NEVER. Puppies need more nutrients than they can get in cow's milk, not to mention that most dogs are lactose in tolerate and cow milk quickly dehydrate a pup and cause diarrhea.

Most dogs lack the proteins to break down cows milk. Larger dogs have a shorter intestinal tract than small dogs and are prone to Dicky tummies, bigger dogs should be fed on blander foods such as bakers or even tripe, foods such as pedigree chum are not recommended by vets for the larger breeds
Our GSD loves cows milk and does not react in the slightest to cows milk and has had the occasional treat of cows milk.
When we first got "Fritz" he wasn't properly weened (crap breeder) and we re-weened him on weetabix softened with warm water and a small amount of milk.
Test your puppy with a little, even though he will love you for it it may not react well to it.

your puppy shouldn't need cows milk. Once the puppy is weaned from his/her mother only feed your puppy dry brown puppy food and water. If you are wondering how to feed the puppy when it's mother won't then you need to get a milk replacer for puppies

I would advise you not to give your pets cows milk, as a lot of animals can't digest the fats in it, and end up with the shits. This is true for dogs and cats.

NEVER!! It is a common misconseption when people thing dogs and cats get milk. The heathiest thing for dogs and cats to eat is food made for dogs and cats. An animal only gets milk from its mother when it is first born.
