Recently I saw a video of childbirth(highly uncensored I must say) and I didn't flinch. Also I've seen dead bodies everywhere online, primarily on ogrish and rotten.com yet I just looked at it like nothing. What does this mean?

Oh trust me I feel bad about those that are dead and it's pretty sick. I just don't feel all weird when I'm looking at the stuff. I don't know why.

Just because you have no emotional reaction to it .. doesn't mean you should be a doctor. Instead, I would be asking myself why I don't have any emotional reaction to it. Most Doctors do. Good Luck! :)

How good of a student are you? How intelligent and mature are you? Can you put in all the effort and time?Can you make a commitment to go to school for an additional 14 years after high school and through Residency, etc. How will you afford all of that? That is what you need to ask yourself.
Considering the questions you have asked just before this, I highly doubt it! lol

You should be a dentist. The lifestyle is much better (3-4 day work week compared to 7 for a physician) and you can make as much money as a doctor (ADA states average dentist makes about $180,000 / year). Plus you get the satisfaction of helping improve smiles.

Why should you have to ask anyone else if You want to be a Doctor. It should be in your heart and soul to save lives. We can"t tell you to do that; or if you have that in you to do. Only you know that. Is that what you want to do with the rest of your life? If so be a Good Doctor and make a difference in other peoples lives. You also asked about cutting off your penis. Being able to see gore without flinching doesn't have anything to do with whether you'd make a good doctor. Being intelligent, having good study habits, and a SERIOUS mind are the very basic requirements.

It may mean that you've just become desensitized to things due to the media like a lot of other people. Do you have any interest in being a doctor? If you feel like it is something you want to do then go
for it. We need more doctors esp. in the town I live.

it could mean that you are heartless and dont care about the things around you, or it is a quality that could be useful as a doctor, but you have to know what you are doing as a doctor, so if you have no medical background you cant be a doctor.

hey i can look and a live surgery while eating i have a VERY song stomache im acctually in med school to be a nurse/ paramedic...:D good luck to you and i would say if you want to do that GO for it
(my weak part is i cant eat spicy foods...i have acid reflux...)
