its really wierd and creepy!! i wonder why it is

it's kinda like with red eye on pictures. our eyes look red in certain kinds of light, but cat eyes are a little bit different, so they look like a hologram color

Cats' eyes (and a number of other species) reflect light from a layer of cells on the retina called the "tapetum." This helps them make the most of whatever light is available. Since the light is reflected, it often makes a cat's eyes seem to glow, but it is simply an effect like shining a light on a mirror. Contrary to popular belief, cats cannot see in TOTAL darkness, however.

My cats eyes are blue, so when we take a picture of her the pupils go red, which can be really freaky. It's from the light that go through her eyes.

because they a different type of substance in their eyes. if u take a picture of a person with a flash their eyes go red. this is because the flash goes through to the back of ur eyes and makes them look red. this is wat happenes to cats...but theirs go white.
