Do guys find it lame for a girl to walk up to them and ask them out for dinner or something?
This guy I know; knows I like him, how should I approach him?
What should I say? What should I do? Should I play hard to get?
I haven’t dated in 6 years because I was married and so I am a little out of practice.
Any advice would be helpful.................Thank you

Guys, just like gals find it flattering for a woman to ask them out. Don't ask them out in a group, this will intice an ego trip amongst his friends. Ask him one on one, less likely to put up a false front.
Society has forced us to think that if a woman asks us out, she must be desperate or loose. Forget what society thinks and go out and have a good time. Become friends, after all, best friends make the perfect partners.

No, it's not lame for a girl to ask a guy out. Most guy think it's kinda cool(takes the presure off them to do it).
Generaly, you can approch a guy by walking. Say something like 'I like you, want to go out'. You could play hard to get, though I'd guess your hard to get right now, as your not dating him yet. So if you want to keep playing hard to get, then don't do anything.

No, I think it's great. Just do it confidently. You don't necessarily have to even be overt. Just let him know what your schedule is and work in something you would like to do. If you are a little more brave, just say you were thinking about going to whatever (a concert, movie, etc.) and wondering if he was interested in joining you. If he is, he will say yes then and there or at least give you a raincheck. If he says, let me think about it or I don't know, he's not interested.

Most guys would be flattered and the more shy ones would greatly appreciate it. Go right ahead! This is the year 2006, it shouldn't matter who asks who out with gender equality.
