No, because if you can't believe in the Old Testament, you can't believe in the New Testament either. Christianity is not a pick and choose religion. Christ quoted the Old Testament, if you don't believe in the Old Testament, then you make Christ a liar. If Christ was a liar, then Christianity is fake and everything we believe is wrong and we are all doomed to this life and nothing more. No heaven, no angels, no demons, no God. Creation is true. The Bible is true. Period, end of story.

To Pcreamer2- A child growing up is not evolution. A child is a young human. It doesn't become a different species. A Caterpillar to cocoon to butterfly is the stage of development of a butterfly, not evolution.

Totally possible.

You see, portions of evolution are in reality, not theory.

Its well known that Evolution has both fact & theory as part of it is.
Creationism though is faith based...

Therefore its possible for a christian to believe part of evolution..

my friend... if you believe in evolution, you belive in the scientific world, it means that you dont believe that GOD created the heaven and the earth. i suggest you pray and ask GOD. HE HEARS AND ALSO ANSWER THOSE IN NEED. Heaven is a free gift, only for the rightoues. so ask GOD'S forgiveness, have a relationnship with him, let his will be done on earth as it is in heaven. and let GOD decide your destiny....

No, Christians cannot believe in evolution, it denies that Christ created the world. Which in the book of John is plainly stated in the first chapter. And to say there is reason and common sense in the THEORY of EVILUTION is utterly ridiculous
