Don't "buy" him anything. Plan a very romantic dinner at home, complete with flowers, sexy outfit, candles, romantic music, a bubble bath or shower together, sexy massage, slow dancing, the whole thing. Much better than any "thing" you can buy in a store. He will remember your anniversary forever! Give him the gift of you. celebrate eachother. And make it all a surprise.

Well if you are doing the traditional stuff be creative with it. Like perhaps for cotton you could get him a nice cotton spa robe maybe even have his name embroidered on it Or monogrammed. Or get yourself matching his and her robes and put your last name on it.
Other cotton type ideas are...
a cotton throw that a man would like with a big Harley or theme he would like.
Try and pick a sport he likes and get his something cotton for that activity. (i.e. gold make club covers etc.)
China is a harder one to figure for guys so you have to thing of things they may like china coffee mugs with perhaps a wedding day photo on it or a china collectors plate with an inspirational inscription from you to him.
Be creative with your ideas and best of luck.

its cotton for 2nd anniversary and china for 20th(when you get to this one a trip to China would be good)
how about a weekend to Blackpool,new cotton shirt,cotton candy,and you holding him tight on the roller coaster.

I bought my husband loads of cotton clothes and then took him to his favourite chinese restaurant (I didn't think he'd appreciate "china" so played on the idea a bit!!).
He'll just appreciate you doing something special on the day.

You could always wrap whatever you get in cotton, or put it inside a china cup etc. I think you have to get him something he will enjoy or something for his hobbies or interests. Eg a day racing, or a day with a golf pro, tickets to his favourite band or football match.. My hubby loves gadgets, so a new gadget would be great for him. Or you could take him for a chinese meal?

i'm in all likelihood procuring mine a clean paintball set off for his gun. he's getting me Season 6 of gray's Anatomy and we are in all likelihood going paintballing and then we are going to circulate out for dinner and a movie and then later I have been given some thing sexy for him and that i visit make cheesecake (it became into our wedding ceremony cake). it is our 2nd annversary optimistically!
