Is it cheesy to use your maiden name as a first name for a baby?
Depends on what your maiden name is...if it makes sense as a first name (i.e. Tyler, Taylor, Walker) I don't see why not?
Also, which sounds better? Garrett Foster or Rylan Foster?
I like both of them, however Garrett Foster seems more manly to me.

It's not cheesy, one of my best friends has her mothers maiden name as her maiden name.
I like Rylan Foster the best. It sounds better.

I hope that it isn't cheasy to use your maiden name. I am named after my moms maiden name and it is normal. She just changed the spelling.
I like Garrett because when I said Rylan Foster I kept on adding a r to Foster making it Froster. Either way- it is up to you.

It's not corny. It's a way of preserving your family. I like Rylan. That's unique and different.
