I have used gasoline...just be sure to do it in a well ventilated area and wash your hands immediately with soap & water.

Depending on the type of paint, WD 40 will remove paint from skin.

FIRST PREP YOU SKIN PRIOR, coat hands with a pvaseline product, wear gloves long slleve shirt etc. if you have paint on hands, follows what is said below. no gas, no wd40. simply paint thinner, soap and water
