I just asked a girl that Ive known for a while out on Friday and she agreed. Just before finishing up the convo she gave me her cell number without me asking. Then today, I find out she postponed a trip with her friends that weekend to go on the date! Does she like me or is she just being really nice?

You must be pretty shy and do not know much about girls.
1): She has canceled plans for a trip with her friends so she could go out with you?
2:) She gave you her cell phone without you even asking?
Most guys have to work hard to just get this from a girl.
She likes you and would not want to pass up a chance to go out with you. The ball is in your court man. There is no question here.
Be un-predictable on your date. Don't take her somewhere you can't talk.....movie...bar.....club. All of those can be fun but you can't get to know each other.
Take her to a coffee shop...book store....nice long dinner.
Tease her a bit while you have coffee or whatever. Get her to talk about herself and find out more about her. She will love you for that.
After that anything goes but just make it fun.
This is one of those golden opertunities you hear about.
Go for it.

For goodness sake. You wouldnt know what like was if it kicked you in the face and told you. She wouldnt postpone something just to go on a date with you if she just 'liked you'. No doubt the trip was being planned for a long time so no doubt she liked you. As more than a friend.

Being a girl myself, I would definately say she likes you. Most girls wouldn't put off a trip unless they really liked the guy. good luck, and I hope you guys get together!
