Christians often refer to Islam as a terrorist religion, and they abuse the Arabic word "Jihad" and portray it as a reference to terrorism. We must not forget that JIHAD began in the Bible, where GOD Almighty Commanded His followers to fight for His Holy Cause. Let us look at what the Bible says about Jihad:

GOD Almighty Chose the land of Palestine to be the Jews' "Promise Land", and thus, ordered them to go into it and fight the pagans there so they can have possession over it:

Numbers 13:26-28
26 They came back to Moses and Aaron and the whole Israelite community at Kadesh in the Desert of Paran. There they reported to them and to the whole assembly and showed them the fruit of the land.
27 They gave Moses this account: "We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit.
28 But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there.

One simple Question: Did the disbelievers in the land of Palestine during the times of Moses start any war with the Hebrews who ORIGINALLY came from Egypt?? Absolutely Not!

We Muslims refer this to Jihad, so Jihad came from the Holy teachings of previous biblical prophets...

"All who would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman. (From the NIV Bible, 2 Chronicles 15:13)"

Please understand that Christians do NOT refer to Islam as a terrorist religion. Most Christians realize that Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are the faiths of Abraham. We do not differ greatly in what we believe. Just as extremist Christians are not claimed by the majority of Christians, we do not believe extremist Muslims are representative of the majority of Islam. I won't even address the reference you provide to support your position. When you use misconstrued portions of the Bible out of context to serve your purpose, you are not representing OUR GOD. We have the same God, you know? He did not give you an interpretation of Jihad, Mohammad did; and even at that, today's interpretation by extremists is not the common interpretation by Islam. When you spread hatred, you do not serve God, you serve man.

Yes, times were hard, wars were fought. And it's starting up all over again. Is that how you justify the murder hundreds of people? By saying " you great-great-great-great-great-great ...etc grandpa on you mother's uncle's brother' s side started it"? If this is a war against Christianity, do you know how many non-Christians were killed in these terrorist attacks? Of course you don't because that not what it's about. It's about pride. It's about making yourself feel important based on the suffering of others.
Anyone who kills in any god's name is a blasphemer. I haven't seen any Commandment spoken by God that says go kill these people, and yes, I've read all ten of them. Anything beyond that point is a cruel-evil person manipulating the faithful for his own ends. " Christan " or otherwise.

The Hebrews were NOT originally from Egypt. They traveled there during a time of famine and were taken into captivity. They were traveling to the land God gave them when they made the Exodus.

I see plenty of individuals averting the query. As an atheist I used to be curious approximately how individuals might reply. I imply, it might be telling. If they real believed in an all-strong god that they needed to obey with out query then they might have got to obey each order regardless of how unhealthy it used to be. Instead, they only declare that the god might under no circumstances provide such an order. However, the bible is filled with occasions while individuals had been glorified for his or her killings so looking to declare "thou shalt no longer kill" isn't going to be a lot of a protection.

The difference is that the Jews did it in order to be obedient. When they refused to go into the land they were punished for their cowardice,. Muslims, on the other hand follow a false prophet and their jihad is based on cowardice.

God was leading the Hebrews to the land he promised them. That is not Jihad.

you better do more homework, Abraham came fro Canaan before Israel (12 tribes) existed. as time passed God brought His people back into that land. why does everyone want Israel when they have all the rest of the middle east? as you read the Bible you will see that these events are all predicted to happen and that God is the only God ever!

hey buddy now you are stereotyping all christians which isn't right. your complaining about stereotyping and yet you sit there and do it to us. Not all christians think muslims are terrorists. However there are muslim extremists that are terrorists, just like there are Christian Radicals that are terrorists.

I personnally don't catagorize all muslims as terrorists and i don't know many people who do. I think you just have some issues with certain people not the entire church
