How do you not? thats how I know I'm kissing and not just pressing my mouth up against someone else lol.

Tongue-kissing, or more commonly called French-kissing, or frenching, is accomplished be putting two peoples lips together and slightly opening your mouths just enough to allow your tongues to meet. If you open your mouth all the way and try to stick your tongue all the way in the back of the other person's throat, that is a sign of bad kissing. It more often than not will result in a sharp upward jab of their knee into the apex of your legs. Slight rubbing of the tongues usually results in more kissing, although never more than half of your tongue should be out of your mouth. Keep in mind that too much kissing can be a bad thing. It may become addictive and then you can get pretty lost in it. Only French-kiss when you are alone with the person or when you are not in the vicinity of someone who is an authority figure, because when you get older(im hoping your at least legal before you start this stuff but it is up to you), it will sometimes lead to things that I can not mention in case this is a minor. haha. you stick your tongue in the other person's mouth slowly. People say to spell the ABC's on their tongue, but that involves too much thinking. Just causally move your tongue in and just feel over theirs. It can be kind of sloppy at first. Don't jam your tongue in or get too much drool on the other person.

well if your a first timer then you want 2 take it slow and not rush with it. u let him stick it in first and then u go and from there u 2 will just go back and forth.
