Yes, I do remember...it's a sad state when there are thieves that will sink low enough to target even a church.

i agree with missingora's statements.
i do remember when church doors weren't locked. and i also realize that a lot of people that didn't have any place to go, but knew of God and wanted to make a change in their lives didn't have to wait for Sunday services, but could enter and meet
God at the altar at that time, but today, they have to wait and many may not come back. imagine the people that were saved at those times compared to now with locked doors. unfortunately, its a sign of the times, now and to come.

Yes. There was a time when even non-believers would respect a church, but not now. It's a sad reflection on modern life. Now we also have the terrorists to contend with, and I wonder how long it will be before they start attacking churches.

yes I do. there was a time when Churches were open 24 hours 7 days a week. there were some who took their lunch hour and went to a nearby Church for meditation and solitude to get through a rough day or before going home to a family.

Being a poor man, and not able to buy nice clothes right now.
Due to my inabiltiy to work from degenerating discs. Whenever
I go into a church, they watch me like I'm stealing. But I
know it's an attack of EVIL.
Why doesn't the buddhamaster HEAL himself? Because sometimes God GIVES us infirmities. I was running around
worrying about making money, and partying.
Now I got my mind on the Lord.

I do but then I'm so old that I remember when terrorism was unheard of, there were no school shootings, no AIDS, no Goth and no drive-by-shootings. Families ate dinner together; kids obeyed their parents; marriage came before babies; and nearly all couples stayed together forever. Isn't it sad that values have deteriorated like they have?

Yes.
And I can remember when kids were safe playing outside.
And when divorce was a dirty word.
And when children could pray....
Amazing how much things have changed, since Christians have quietly sat and let God be thrown out. Shame on us all!!
