My hair is wavy on top ,but is extramly curly on the Bottom layer. How can i imake my hair allover wavy but not curly? Please HELP!

i always braid my hair in one big braid while it is damp until it is dried and than wear loose. Use a leave in conditioner.

When hair is almost dry roll it with sponge rollers and use a blow dryer to dry it.
