My cousin and i were talking and she is older than me and was very active before getting married and she suggested Kegels to maintain my crouch tightness?I have only ever had sex with one guy my old bf not that often only 7 times and that was 6 months ago? I have not done anything since and dont plan too till i am in a serious long term relationship. She thinks it helps you stay virgin tight without needing stiches every 2-3 years is this true?

First of all, yahoo isn't where you should be sharing all of this. How old are you anyways? Maybe you should talk to your friend or a parent, not total strangers. Any who, I have never heard of someone needing stitches every 2-3 years. Your vagina stretches, it is like a rubberband. It stretches, but then goes back. The only time I have ever heard of having stitches is if you have a baby, or accidently get a rip down there. Kegels will be necessary in your life, but not right now. When you have a baby, you are required to do them. I don't even want to know how many people your friend is sleeping with to have to need 2-3 years.

Stitches every 2-3 years? Never heard of such a thing. As far as kegel exercises go ... they're great for keeping muscles toned in your groin, especially when it comes to holding your urine. As for keeping your vagina virgin tight ... why would you want to bother with that? What will you do after you have a baby? Or 2? Instead of discussing this with your cousin, talk with your gynecologist instead. I've been married over 20 years. Had 2 babies with my first husband. Neither first or second husband ever complained.

Stiches every 2-3 years? No, no, no - they only stitch up women who are 'torn' during childbirth. Kegels do work on women, but, again, they're usually only recommended for women who have had children, and got stretched out. If you want to do them you can - I don't think it can hurt you any. When you're urinating, squeeze off and stop the flow - that's how you do a kegel. You can do them anytime then.
