They are peke-a-poos. I bought an Andis clipper with a size 10 blade and they look so uneven. There was no guard on the blade. Can someone point me in the right direction?

You really should use a #7F blade and shear them down as even as possible. This will then give you something to work toward with your # 10 blade. If you do not have the other blade and have to use the #10, be careful to stop regularly and take a toothbrush to sweep out small hair particles that will clog the blade and cause uneven cutting. You also need to use clipper spray in which to keep the blades cool while clipping as they get really hot and will sometimes cause burning of the skin, and unhappy pups. Go slow, take your time, and stop awhile if it is too much for your dog to undergo all at once. You should stop in your local pet store/grooming shop and pick up a book on the breed which should include grooming tips and directions. Good Luck

Well,congratulations...you just BUTCHERED your first dogs!!!

WHAT on earth made you think you could do such a PROFESSIONAL JOB????

A ***10*** blade is for POODLE FEET!!! *NOT* MUTT/MONGREL BODIES!!!!

You'll have to wait a MINIMUM of 8 wks to have enough coat for a PRO to fix your botched attempt!!!

thimbleheaded gherkin.

You really should take them to petsmart or another groomer before you make it even worse.
