yea ok i really liked him but my mum told me that he hit his girlfriend.
But my mum never liked him anyway i dont know .He keeps staring at me and saying hello
i dont know what to do shall i belive my mum
my brother told me he hit his girlfriend aswell he is 14
my brother does nt like him aswell

or could they be saying it just so i dont get with him please help

dont do it....
1.he is too old...even though age doesnt make a difference
2. listen to your family...you prob wouldnt have a good relationship anyway because him and your family dont get along
3.your family loves you and they dont want you to get hurt....
4.pray about it
5.ask him if it is true...but then again he could lie about

This would really depend on how you feel inside about the guy.You should try to get to know him before getting seriously involved.In general,I would say to trust your family but family can try to lead you to beleive bad things about others if they just dislike him.I would say that you should dig a little deeper into the rumor.Try to get it out of your family as to what they are basing their facts on and then talk with some of his friends and himself.Rumors can lead people to appear just totally opposite of what they really are but there is a chance that some rumors are true.If you do get seriously involved,then I would be very cautious at first or for the first few months.Watch how he acts toward others and watch his reactions and temper in stressful situations or when something does not go his way.Continuously be aware of his actions and be prepared to leave him at the first sign of abuse.This caution should be taken for the first few months and you need to have it set in your mind that you are not going to give any second chances because if you do then you will be so involved that you cannot leave him and that second chance will turn into alot of second chances.After a couple months,then you should know him enough to develop a little more trust and as time goes by then it can build a strong relationship if he is not abussive.

If he did not hit his gf, there should be another reason why your mom and bro don't like him. And besides, he has a gf, don't squeeze urself into the picture. The guy should keep his eyes and everything else on his girl not on you. Imagine if you were his gf and he is hitting on somebody else... Girl, heed ur family, they care about you. They don't want you hurt in any way. When are u going to believe when u've experienced it urself? Now that's going to be some big time regret. Listen, okay?

Why start up with someone when two people who love you tell you he is a creep. A 20 year old shouldn't have any problem finding a proper bloc....
Why even allow yourself to find out Mom and brother were right....even if their wrong THEY don't like the guy it appears....make you life LESS stressful...not more..

I'd believe my family.Even if they're lying to protect you,you always need to believe your family.And,not only is your mom saying that,but your brother doesn't like him.Be polite,but don't get too close to this guy.Keep your distance.

u know what regardless is your family don't like him,he's disrespection u for one trying to get to know u because he already has a girlfriend how is it that they know about him and not u ................u are only trying to hear what u want to hear until he goes upside your head.don't be so quick to judge a guy just because he's cute(made that mistake) listen to your family don't be stupid

Do you think it's their life's mission to keep you single. Of course they don't want you to date him and probably because they think he beat his old gf.
