Normally that is the case, but not always. Several people have chosen my answer as the best answer. They all happened to be Christians ironically, when I am a Muslim.
The few questions that I asked, I did not select the Best Answer precisely so my prejudice would not get the better of me, as we all are ultimately prejudiced if not at least inclined to agree with those who agree with us.
So, there is a big variety of folks in the World, some are indeed prejudiced and some are not. So, it is hard to make a hard and fast rule on just about anything, including the selection of Best Answers.
Now choose this as the BEST ANSWER, as I do not agree with your contention or else you fulfill your own question....lol....
JUST KIDDING!! But, DO IT!! =)

Usually, but not always, sometimes I choose the worst answer just so I can make a comment on how bad the answer was, other times I choose a best answer based on how cute the pic/avatar is.
I love being shallow here. :)
