Psalm 137:8-9
8 O daughter of Babylon, O destroyed one, O the happiness of him who repayeth to thee thy deed, That thou hast done to us.
9 O the happiness of him who doth seize, And hath dashed thy sucklings on the rock!

The Bible is a book. More specifically a collection of books, or Gospel. The Bible cannot be happy or unhappy. It is a book.

Did you read this one...

1 Samuel 15:2-4
2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.
3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; BUT SLAY BOTH MAN AND WOMAN, INFANTS AND SUCKLING, OX AND SHEEP, CAMEL AND ***.
4 And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND FOOTMEN AND TEN THOUSAND MEN OF JUDAH.

Why do they blame the Muslims for acts of injustice and killings especially on the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) if the Bible says such things??

C'mon, you know better than that. :(

Put that Psalm in context. King David was lamenting the impending judgement of Babylon (sinful nation). He was saying "it would be better for you to put your children to death than to let them live to be punished by God".

Old Testament's got some intense stuff in it, doesn't it?!! Don't read everything as a direct instruction from God, though.

You won't find a more violent or sexually explicit book than the Bible. You have to understand what you're reading, though.

I have no idea but I will give you a few clues that will help you to figure it out. Babylon was the city where false religion was first organized. It has been destroyed and will never be rebuilt. God is 100% fair and just and he says that everyone will reap exactly what they have sown--eventually. False religions have persecuted God's true followers and murdered his prophets.

This is a lament. Angry people who had just been conquered, and who had seen their own infants dashed against the rocks were wanting revenge...
It doesn't say anywhere that God is happy about murdering babies.
People think that just because someone says something and it got recorded into the Bible, must mean God approves of it. But, does He?

This Bible stuff is very confusing. Did that stuff really happen?

Maybe it means baby pigs, maybe they were just making some bacon or something.

It does seem like verse 8 is VERY spiteful though, revenge is not really what I would expect the bible to encourage. Maybe I should read it sometime.

Babylon, not baby, lol

Babylon was a city that thought they could build a tower tall enought to reach God. Here's a link that talks more about it, good luck.

so you think the daughter of Babylon (that is now called Bagdad) is a little girl.
I can only assume that english is your second language since your use of it is even worse than mine (who is the king of poor english practices among english speaking peoples) so I will tell you God treasures all children and even those who mislead them, it would be better had they drowned with a large stone around their neck.

Another example, a man has to be prepared to murder his own son to be worthy. Who wants to be worthy to a tyrant like that?

22:9. And they came to the place which God had shown him, where he built an altar, and laid the wood in order upon it; and when he had bound Isaac his son, he laid him on the altar upon the pile of wood.

22:10. And he put forth his hand, and took the sword, to sacrifice his son.

This scripture speaks about the enemies of the Jews. God would allow the treatment they committed against them to be returned. God does not wish any would die without knowing Him. in certain events He instructed His people to kill everyone because they were evil including their animals. Wicked people will reap their rewards.
