You have to keep in mind that this is hardly a scientific poll and that a great many respondents may be pre-teen. Thus it is difficult, if not impossible, to make any sort of assessment on general American sentiments in such a forum as this.
Also keep in mind that racism is prevalent in a great many countries and in most cases with far more dire consequences that in the US. These other countries would thus have a near zero chance of succeeding if this is the benchmark for success.
I'm not going to worry about it. I don't worry about anything anyway, so why should I now worry about this? AEN

I agree, Paul. It makes you wonder. I've said it before, I don't live near a border so I can't totally understand all of the problems that go on in those border towns but problems are not an excuse for racism. Whether people like it or not, even if they put up a wall around the border, this country will still have many different races and cultures living here. I don't understand the problem with that, I guess.

I think you are believing everything you hear on the news. The media have an agenda and it is decidedly un-American.
It is an election season here and the liberals try to make a racial incident out of everything in order to paint the conservatives as racist. So what you are seeing is a hyper sensitive political environment.

Paul,
Sadly, there is a lot of it out there, even some that passes for "normal" but gives me goose flesh when I witness it. It doesn't even have to be spoken. A simple act of waiting on a white person who was second in line over the person of color. Pray for the masses. The experiment as you call it, works in some areas, but not so well in others.

they're issues which could in easy terms be got here upon after thousands and thousands of trials. and of direction, strict restrict needs to be in place. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, simply by fact the inspiration of technological know-how is often changing simply by new discoveries, we could desire to even have sympathy to the drug organization to boot. they do no longer seem to be miracle makers, they only attempt to make earnings by skill of advertising something that they "think of" could desire to help different human beings. think of the international without antibiotics and different medicine, what number human beings might could desire to die? If we agree that technological know-how can get replaced, the drug organization could desire to no longer have an excuse of increasing medicine fees simply by fact of regulation tournament.additionally if we seem on the different area that has used the socialist gadget it has slowed down and did no longer stay as much as its Utopian promise. No gadget is acceptable yet open and unfastened marketplace is the suitable available.

This is a small community here on answers so it just seems like it is wide spread. The United States is no more or less racist than any other country. The United States will succeed.

Hi. Good point. I believe you are on the right track. We don't need an American experiment. We need an international experiment in justice, democracy and human rights for all. Every citizen of the world should demand that their governments, including the U.S., be responsive and accountable to these basic principles.

Keep in mind that anonymous forums not only let people rant, it lets people say outrageous things for sheer reaction value. The idiots here do not reflect conversations you would generally hear, not even at the average redneck bar.

yea, they are sending a bad message to the world about themselves, they blame to teenagers, but I haven't seen racist remarks from other countries. I think its product of a lack of education, arrogance (we are the super power of the world) and being the product of a racist culture.
