Your fiancee should secure a visa first at the British embasy in the Philippines. Tell her to go to the British Embassy which is located in Makati at the PLDT Building (not sure) and get some info on what requirements she would need for the visa. Part of those requirements will be coming from you such as your passport details, bank statements to prove that you can afford to accommodate and feed her with out her having to work or assistance from public fund. and other requirements. as soon as she gets the visa, then she could come to the UK.

If you are working in UK and have a permanent job, then it is easier, but she must apply from the Philippines for a spouses visa. You will have to provide up to six months bank statements and proof of suitable accommodation.
My daughter has just had her S.A husband and three kids visas turned down due to the fact she did not show that they were going to suitable accommodation, (A lease agreement was not enough) and she could not show that she had enough money to support them without recourse to public funds. (Her Husband was due to go for a job interview with the police next Tuesday, this is now on hold)
It seems that the British Government looks after people from the EEC who have no British family ties first, family's of British Citizens who are not EEC members come second.

Spouses joining their partners in the United Kingdom intending to live together as man and wife permanently must have sufficient means to maintain and accommodate themselves without recourse to public funds, as here in the US. As a UK citizen you may be entitled to state benefits in your own right but the spouse should not impose an additional burden on public funds.
Entry Clearance is required for applications made abroad and this requirement is rigorously enforced.
Spouse Visa Requirements:
1. Proof of Legal Marriage
2. Parties to the Marriage have Met
3. Both the parties intend to live together
4. Marriage is Subsisting
5. Availability of Accommodation without recourse to public funds
6. Availability of funds for maintenance without recourse to public funds.
The interview is the most important part of the visa procedure, plus proper and complete documentation. The entry clearance officer will ask about your relationship, your current situation and documentary evidence such as financial documents, so be sure that you and your wife have a general understanding of each other.

i have been married two times earlier, so i do not care if i do not marry again, yet I received't say that I "received't" marry again...that's no longer a concern in any respect, yet i'd like to have someone to percentage my existence with... i have been unmarried for a lengthy time period now (the added perfect component to the previous 11 yrs) so i'm smooth with it in simple terms being me, if that's how some thing of my existence is going...I truly have friends and relations and interests, so it isn't in any respect boring (yet each and every so often it receives lonely)...

You have to really convince her that UK is a good place to live. There has to be something that she can do there in order for her to be happy living there, otherwise she will just want to move back.

Hi Colin.
Why not max all your credit cards, remortgage the house, get a few loans, then fcuk off with the money and stay in your wife's country, living like kings?
Just a thought.
If there is a reason not to do this (other than moral), then tell me because it's my plan!!!!!!!!!
