I have no doubt my little kitty is going to be there..... and if she wakes me up at way-too-early in the morning again, she'll be there long before I am............

No. Animals are part of the natural environment, and Scripture tells us the earth shall pass away. Consider these two possibilities ...
(1) All animals will go to heaven. This doesn't sound too attractive to me. I can't imagine a heaven populated by crocodiles, tyrannosaurus, great white sharks and cockroaches.
(2) Only those animals we have taken from their natural environment and turned into pets will go to heaven. The problem with this idea is that it makes us, not God, the ones who decide which individual animals will have eternal life and which will not. We become, in effect, the "Saviors" of the animals.
What we experience in heaven will be so far above and beyond all earthly pleasures that we will not miss our animal companions, our rose gardens, our swimming pools, our Hummel collections, or any of the other things we look to on earth for satisfaction and pleasure.

I believe that some animals have more of a soul than some people ever will. I love all God's creatures, especially the dogs, cats, and birds.
God Bless you. God loves animals too. There are many churches that hold yearly blessings of the animals. I also believe there will be a place for them in heaven. That is my belief and I am a Christian. The Lamb of God is pure.

I do believe that in the resurrection, we will be delightfully surprised to find that our beloved pets will be there as well. It always astounds me how Christians so insistent on the truthfulness of the bodily resurrection of Jesus somehow separate their own future resurrection as only spiritual. God is the Great Biologist -- he can resurrect anyone or anything he wants to.
Remember the story of Noah and the great flood? That in itself is representative of what will someday happen in the future as far as animals go. God loves animals and they most assuredly will be with us when we are resurrected from the dead. After reading some of these answers, I am wondering who some of your Sunday School teachers were. How they have failed to convey to you the truth and the hope of the future.

Ironically enough, some atheists say the reason they know there is no God is because we are merely animals. A dog and a cat have no soul, they respond to their environment, their genes, their chemicals and basic nature. They say we do too, therefore God doesn't exist.
I'm a Christian and I say that animals have no soul but are a part of God's creation and we are responsible for them. I love my dog, he's an integral part of our family, but when he dies, I won't mourn him terribly, I'll go get another dog. He's necessary for us, he's our first alert warning, he's the eater of scraps and the only one who will sit and listen to you for hours .... long as you scratch his chest lol.

There is no reason to believe that they will not be there. Read the Book of Isaiah and the Bible mentions animals in heaven. Did you know the Book of Job evens mentions Dinosaurs. I know that was not part of your question, but the Word of God covers animals in great detail. Read His Word and you will see. I have given you the Book where the Bible mentions animals, please read it and then decide for yourself and you will be able to help someone else with a question like this in the future.Hope this helps you.

If a human has a soul than most certainly a dog has one too. The eyes are windows to the soul, look closely here, you can see it.

Yes. God loves all his creation,
Heaven is for the pleasure and joy of redeemed lost souls.
Animals are a major part of some believers lives.
Why would God take that away?

That's why religion is so stupid. How do they know what happens after death, to us or any other living thing?
I always flush religion down the toilet, then I don't have to worry about what the idiots preach http://flushaholybook.com
