Obviously, inhisname, if I had a backup program, I wouldn't ask the question. XP Home Edition, does not have the backup program. Thanks anyway.

n nero back it up click on the drive back up click on the system drive click start drive back up best with cd/dvd rewritables then click start drive back up this will make you a series of cd/dvds you can use these to restore your system as the first disk is bootable at start up this restores the computer to its orignal install plus any other programs ect on the drive rewritable disks are the best for this as they can be updated easily if any thing changes on the system you do not need your serial number as this will only restore to the machine it was saved from you also do not need to reformat the drive the disks reinstall to the same partition on the hard drive

Friend there is no data recovery software which you get free but i suggest you some tool which is best to perform data recovery

the best free backup system is the one that Microsoft offers you on your PC with windows xp. its under the accessories selection, then you select system and then backup. this is on your PC. if you want to have more you need to copy all your files to a zip file or a storage center.
