His ex had herpes. He told me he doesn't but I don't know. Should I just stop hanging out with him?

The times we hung out we ended up making out and he kissed my upper body, not my vagina the second time, but yeah. What should I do? I don't think I could just be his friend.

Also if I just made out with him, can I get herpes for sure? Now I'm freaking out.

Just make sure any type of sexual contact is protected.

It's good that he told u that his ex had herpes. U can tell him u are afraid of contracting any stds, so u want to be sure of ur partner. Suggest both of u get tested before u proceed. Read about herpes and how to identify break outs. WebMD is informative. Never indulge in unprotective sex with him or anybody else. Protect urself at all times. take care!

Protect yourself!

I would seek advice from either my physician and/or Planned Parenthood for how you could avoid contracting herpes.

I do not care if he think he isn't contagious......herpes CAN still be transmitted even when the infected person has no outer symptoms.

Be smart!

Really liking someone may last a few months, Herpes lasts a lifetime. Ask him to get tested. You should also get tested just to be safe. Better safe than sorry.

Get tested and stay away. I know it is probably hard but this is something you need to stop right now if it's not already to late. Somethings in life are hard real hard but this will make you a stronger person in the end. Hope everything turns out ok.

Have him get checked out, if he refuses, then don't go out with him. If he does & finds that he does have it & you still want to be with him, then practice safe sex. I know a couple who have been togeather for 14 years (married 9,w/ 3 kids). He has it,she doesn't nor do their kids. You just have to be careful. Ask you Dr. or go with him to his. Check it out-do some research on it.you may be pleasently surprised at what you find out. & YES, he had it BEFORE they hooked-up. He was up front w/her about it !!

If you are concerned, get him to present you with a medical certificate showing he is free of herpes.

You need to ask him for proof if you are going to have an initmate relationship with him, it may hurt him, but then he may not be worth it if he gets upset... if he respects you then he should do it no problem.

I would just say that you want to get tested and that you would like him to go with you. This way youre not directly saying for him to go, you are going and want him to go with you!
