The baptist are strong believers and study the word while believing that the miracles of old do not apply in these times.
Such as , speaking in tongues, ect.
The chaismatics are full gospel believers that believe everything in the bible concerning healing, speaking in tongues, ect are applied today just as when written. They are more excitable in worship where as baptist are more subdued

What is this? A bad joke?

He he he. If you mean Charismatics then I can explain it this way. Picture Christianity as a football game. The Baptist have got their noses in the program and discussing player stats. The Charismatics are the guys who are mostly naked and painted with the team colors or wearing cheese on their head.

:) IMHO
GOD bless ya.

baptists center on evangelism, and spreading the word and work of God.
Charismatics center on being spirit filled empowered with the Holy Ghost to let God work fully.

I, being a charismatic, that once was a baptist, prefer the latter. It is so fun, to have worship and fun and laughter in our walk.
