From birth and being born under a lucky star to finding one's soul mate to the belief that one will die when "his number is up," life is filled with references to the power of fate and destiny. What are your views on that outside source guiding one's life?

I feel that I am in control of my life and my destiny. The series of choices that I make along the way help to ensure the outcome, but that could change due to circumstances beyond my control. This is not my fate or my destiny. This is simply my life.

I do not believe in fate or destiny. What happens is dictated by our own actions and perhaps coincidence. At the same time, I think that I was born with a purpose for being here. It is not my destiny to achieve that purpose, just a hope.

Everything is based on Decisions and their outcome that determines your fate and Destiny. You can't get it from reading
Astrology because it is Earth based (Satanic). Your real birth/
beginning was when the sperm & egg joined and you started
growing. When God made Mary pregnant with Jesus he made a
Big Decision and it seems the decision had a bad ending but God
knew it would happen that way so he prepared for it.

My beleif is that I was born under an UNLucky star.

My luck changed when I finally found my soul mate, and I beleive that the unfortunate relationships that I had in my past set me up to be the person I was when we met. We are both infull agreement that had we met in another place and time we would NOT have fallen in love.

I also beleive that there are certain things in your life that are pre-determined,
You will experience love, loss, death, hearbreak, illness, and joy.
You learn and grow with every life experience.

I also beleive that when it is your time to go, that is it.

There are outside sources, but how you respnd to what happens to you makes the world of difference.

there is no such controlling thing as fate/destiny.
if that were true than there really would be no point in trying to accomplish anything. Yet everyday, people strive to reach the goals they see as important.
The references are just as thoughtless as those that think they are consoling the bereaved of a child by saying things like "God needed another angel"
Or those that when having lived through some sort of tragedy where others perished say "God must have something he wants me to do"
These types of things and sayings are mindless and illogical, bringing to people who are not even religous down to a level of belief that is based upon incredulity.
One must comport oneself as a thinking person so as to not look like a fool to everyone.

i belive that i have someone watching over me . i should have been dead many times over from various things i have done and i am still here . because of the things that have happened in my life, i have had the opportunity to make some changes in my life and things have been going pretty good for me now. I guess i believe in karma. i find that if you live a good life then good things happen, if you do bad things in life , it seems to come back at you.

My views are that there is no outside force that is guiding my life. I make all the decisions, I pull all the chains.

Chance happens to all men.
You Reap what you Sow.
satan(insane Angel, not human) runs around seeking whom he may devour(he may not devour me).
GOD is trying to Bless and Protect us in all of this, Adam kicked GOD out of the Earth, GOD has to wait till the Contract is up with Mankind so HE (Jesus) can come back and Rule and Reign Personally.
