I think its a muscle that hasn't been used for a while because I do not talk clearly cuz of my high frequency hearing loss. So because of that I have to open my mouth more so people understand me and when i do that my jaw starts hurting.

And it does that too when I sing

By the way, I have a speech therapist so she's the one who tells me I have to open my mouth more n thats when i found the pain

i have had this pain as well my doctor at the time tried to tell me i had TMJ ,I new he was wrong because when i took antibiotics the pain went away .and since you have hearing loss as well just like i did then its possible you my have a sinus or ear infection like i did believe it or not the infections can affect many things that people just don,t think about.

You might need a trip to the doctor. What you have sounds like Temporal Mandibular Joint disorder.

go to a speech therapist. they can do wonders.dont try too hard. i like people who talk funny. that makes them unique.
