I uninstalled the AOL program but there's more stuff, it wouldn't let me delete it.

Thank you SKG R, Interested dude and Sissybug, but I tried all your suggestions, it didn't work. I'd like to find a way to delete just those files without having to reformat.

In addition to removing the main AOL program, you need to remove the AOL connection manager, AOL viewpoint media player, and several other AOL programs. Do not restart until you have everything removed, or AOL will just reinstall itself. Once AOL has taken control of your computer, they hate to give up the control.

Teresa's right. Even after the install, they've attached themselves to many other files/programs. Nothing short of a re-format would ensure that AOL is no longer on your system. (and that's if you know how to regedit and have removed all AOL references).

Reformatting your hard drive should get rid of all your AOL files. That's how I got rid of all my Verizon files.

go to the program files and delete the folders, after you go to control panel add/remove and uninstall it.

Than do a cleanup on all old files
