Drop subtle hints that you're interested.
I read that usually girls are the initiators and guys act upon them. So if a guy asks you out, you kind of initiated it. (in a way)
If you mean, how do you get a guy to ask you out with out you asking him out..
Lets say..
Tell him what you like to do, places you like to go.
Then tell him you're going out..
If he's interested he'll ask to join you, that day, or some other day.

If you like him why don't you ask him out.
Don't always wait for someone to come to you because someone else may snatch them away before you get the chance to.
