Unless you're allergic to it, it's fine. Not ideal, but it won't kill you - millions of people have eaten mouldy bread and miraculously lived to tell the tale.
Some people here should ask their great/grandparents about what sort of things people ate in the past before widespread refrigeration etc. It might open a few eyes. By the looks of things, some here wouldn't last more than a couple of days with their fussy eating.

Nope. The green mouldy bits are only the bits of the mould you can see - a bit like the flower of a plant. The rest is already well inside the bread in the form of microscopic filaments which are like the roots of a plant. You can't see them but they are there.
Most moulds on bread are actually relatively harmless (some are related to antibiotics like penicillin) but they make the bread taste bad. Only eat if you are very very hungry!

Mould is white before it goes green, so if you're in the habit of keeping your bread till it goes green then you've probably eaten mouldy bread before and not known it!!
Easy answer, keep your bread in the freezer and get out what you need for the next day before you go to bed. Put it in a food bag though as when it defrosts it will go stale.

In olden days monks used to eat it to get high. No reports about what happened when they came down though ...
by the way; people give mouldy bread to birds all the time and the birds are fine. As birds are really sensitive to toxins and poisons, maybe it is safe for you to eat it. Won't taste very nice though - all musty and powdery and green ...

The best way to keep bread is to freeze it - sliced of course in a polythene bag. This stops it going mouldy in the first place.

No it is not okay. Why would you eat bread that had green mouldy bits on it. It is not healthy for you. You may get food poisioning after eating that, or get illnesses.

It is OK as long as you are not allergic to penicillin. In the "olden" times they used to use the bread that was going a little green to make bread pudding, or bread crumbs
